Hanne-Lore Gertsch has been practicing as a trademark attorney for many years and provides comprehensive advice on trademark law to companies and business leaders. Her practice focuses on providing personalized and strategic guidance to SMEs, startups, and established companies in building, protecting, and enforcing their trademarks. She supports clients throughout the entire process, from trademark development and registration to the defense of their rights.

She has extensive experience in all areas of intellectual property law, particularly in trademark and design law. In trademark proceedings, she represents clients before the Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property (IGE), the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), and the Federal Administrative Court (BVGer).

Thanks to her collaboration with foreign attorneys and her coordination of cross-border proceedings, Hanne-Lore Gertsch also possesses proven expertise in international trademark law.

In addition, she advises on matters of copyright and art law, drawing in particular on her practical experience in the international art market.

Hanne-Lore Gertsch studied law at the University of Bern and completed her master’s degree (MLaw with a focus on private law) in 2011.
